ABOUT ME

This journey started long ago. Initially, I set out to be a doctor or an engineer to make family happy. I have always marched to the beat of my own drum so we know that wasn’t going to happen(lol). I am a child of immigrants. Nigerian to be exact. 

As soon as I could leave Houston/Missouri City, I RAN. Going against the grain started when I got a scholarship to play softball at Jackson State University in Mississippi but that journey quickly ended a year in after getting a 1.8 GPA after my last semester. Student-athletes have a lot on their plates. My dad insisted that I transfer and focus on academics. I didn’t quite stay on the study plan I was supposed to and switched majors after a semester in.

So, I graduated from The University of North Texas with a major in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in accounting. During my last summer of school, I snagged an internship with THE Michael Kors and the rest was history. I moved to NYC. The city of fashion dreams.

I started an MBA program at LIM College and 5 months later, I dropped out to push my brand forward.

Nothing I have created is without the grace of God.
